Children often require their parents to help them with everyday things like getting dressed and getting around. However, what would you do if your mother didn’t wake up one morning? That’s precisely what happened to 4-year-old Sophie. One morning, she woke up to find her mom still sleeping. This was highly unusual for her because her mother was often up before she came out of her room. Sophie tried to wake her up, but nothing would work. Initially, Sophie thought her mom was tired, but the hours ticked away with no sign of her mother waking, so she worried that something was wrong. The only number she knew was 911.
