Now, he lives in Seattle where he runs the bookstore, Phinney Books that he purchased using some of his winnings. This art historian is also an academic competition organizer. He founded and is the executive director of competitions like, the International History Bee and Bowl, the National Science Bee and the International Geography Bee, among others.
