Perhaps, the most dramatic win in the Rio races, Miller literally dove for gold. Yes, she actually dove across the finish line. It was her final stumbles that forced her to lunge ahead. She just beat the world champion Allyson Felix of the USA with her winning time of 49.44 seconds!

What could be more iconic and earth-shattering than that epic dive? Well, Shaunae surely did not slow down after that win. In 2017 she went on to break Allyson Felix’s world record for the 200 meters with her time of 21.76 seconds. She also won bronze at the 2017 World Championships. Oh and as far as her personal life goes, she married her college sweetheart. So post Olympics has been treating her well.
