The Infamous Night
During Thanksgiving weekend, Wood, Wagner and actor Christopher Walken were enjoying an evening out on the couple’s yacht, Splendour. In addition to the three actors, the yacht’s captain, Dennis Davern, was present for this sail off California’s Catalina Island. Wood and Wagner invited Wood’s co-star, Walken, to join them for an overnight boat trip on November 28, 1981. Tragically, Natalie Wood’s body was discovered by authorities the next morning with bruises on her body and arms and a cut on her left cheek.
Walken And Wood
Some claim that Robert Wagner was jealous of how close Natalie Wood and Christopher Walken were getting on the set of the film Brainstorm. When the captain gave a new testimony in 2011, he described an intense fight between Wood and Wagner. Captain Davern told authorities, that Wagner shouted at Walken, “Do you want to f*** my wife,” and then smashed a wine bottle and even screamed, “Get off my f***ing boat!”
