Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocus is a classic Halloween film that was initially intedned for kids but is still beloved by many adults. Many of those adults grew up watching this film, and upon watching again later, they realized that there’s a line meant for the grownups in there: when they tell the bus driver that they desire children.

In the animated Pixar film Inside Out, there’s a line that goes: “there are no bears in San Francisco,” which is a direct reference to the gay community that famously resided in the city. Pixar is one of the first companies that pushed the envelope and added in funny moments for adults watching.
