As he wandered around the perimeter, he saw strange markings in the earth. They could have been covered for many years, but he had not seen a shape like that before. Nudging it with his boot, something caught his eye.

He saw a rope and wondered if there was a boat sunk nearby. He scraped the mud away and pulled on it, but nothing happened. Though it was odd, he wanted to tell someone, so he ran home and brought his parents. Then, word got out, and an even bigger crowd gathered.
