While Rocky IV was being produced, Sylvester Stallone and Brigitte Nielson became engaged. After the film came out, they got married in December 1985 in Beverly Hills. Not too long after, the couple divorced, and their split became media fodder thanks to their involvement in Cobra and Rocky IV.
