The big return from Culkin turned out to be to theater in 2000. In London’s West End, Culkin landed a role in Madame Melville. This marked the beginning of a new turn in Culkin’s life. Despite being caught possessing drugs, Culkin denied any drug problems. Though rumors flew about the star even having a heroin addiction. This particular rumor began with a 2012 image of Culkin looking very thin, with some bones visibly jutting out of his skin and having an overall aged look to him. Some said he used drugs to self-medicate after heartbreak, but again, the actor dispelled the rumors.
