Heather Brough lived with her fiance Joshua Higgins along with their one year old, Lily, in Joshua’s mother’s guest house in Michigan. They lived there for about a year when they abruptly announced that they wanted to leave. It started when Heather noticed strange marks on Lily’s face. As these scratches continued to appear on the baby’s face, Heather grew more and more worried.

Once she noticed the scratches on Lily’s face, she had had enough.
