Hailing from Rome, Italy, Manuela Acruri has used her background and training in acting as a fine art to propel her career in film, theater and television. She has played the leading role in two very successful Italian soap operas, L’onore e il rispetto, and Il peccato e la vergogna. She has also rubbed shoulders with Italy’s elites, having been a frequent guest at the parties of former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi. While all this would be enough for most people, she has also achieved a black belt in karate!
