Alexis Arquette was an activist, poet, acting teacher, and therapist. She started performing under the name Eva Destruction and eventually came out as trans. She transition in 2014. The film Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother tells her story. She passed away in 2016 due to HIV complications.

Trace Lysette first became known for her role in the Amazon show Transparent. She was an active member of the New York City underground ball scenes. She also appears in the 2019 film Hustlers where she shows off her dance moves.
