Holly Woodlawn

Holly Woodlawn was born Haraldo Santiago Franceschi Rodriguez in Puerto Rico. She chose her name Holly Woodlawn by combining Audrey Hepburn’s Breakfast At Tiffany’s characters name and also an episode of I Love Lucy. She eventually moved to New York City to pursue acting and appeared in Scarecrow in a Garden of Cucumbers, Alibi, and Women in Revolt. She founded the Holly Woodlawn Memorial Fund for the Transgender Youth at the LA LGBT Center.

Marsha P. Johnson

Marsha P. Johnson was an iconic advocate of the LGBTQ+ community who helped raise awareness about HIV and trans acceptance. She was a popular drag performer in the underground ball scene and also performed in Andy Warhal’s Factory. She had a huge impact on the Stonewall Uprising, which helped inspire the annual Pride Parade.
