Bradford Pear Tree Flowers
The Bradford Pear Tree is native to Asia and can be found in the eastern region of the United States. The tree’s flowers are gorgeous, but come with a caveat, they smell awful. The trees can grow up to 50 feet tall, spreading the odor all around, which is why they are not the best to plant in your yard.
Black Walnut Trees
Black walnut trees are lovely to look at, but they produce toxins named juglone, which can be harmful to other plants, including grass and even some vegetables. While there are plants that are resistant to juglone, it’s best to just avoid black walnut trees, as maintaining them is also a lot of work.
