The Apple (1980)

The Apple is a sci-fi musical (yes, you read that correctly) that tells the story of hippie-fied Adam and Eve, who are called Alphie and Eve in the film. Eve is constantly drawn to a party lifestyle, and Alphie tries to save her from the perils of partying, while the movie peppers in biblical references. While it totally bombed when it came out, it has had somewhat of a cult classic resurgence.

Homecoming (2009)

Homecoming is a 2009 indie film starring Mischa Barton and Matt Long, and is the story of Bartons character befriending her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend and then later hits the girlfriend with a car while drunk. Critics felt that the writing was very poor and that the storyline was a big cliche, while being a bad imitation of Misery.
