The story is so intriguing that a movie was recently made about it. I, Tonya(2017) stars Margot Robbie, playing Tonya Harding, and Caitlin Carver who plays Kerrigan.

Why was Czech snowboarder, Ester Ledecka’s gold so incredible? Oh, just because she decided to try out skiing for fun and ended up beating out the front-runner, Austrian skier Anna Veith. Ledecka borrowed a friend’s skis and won the gold in the Super-G run during the 2018 Winter Olympics. Even she thought it was a mistake and commented, “I really don’t know what happened. You tell me … I was riding. I really don’t know what happened. It was great.”
