What American Dream?
Everyone’s heard of the “American Dream,” which promises success and riches in the form of a white picket fence, two kids, and a dog to anyone who works hard. While many Americans are afforded opportunities, there is a wide gap between who is eligible for these opportunities and who is not. Many aspects of normal life in America resemble a third world country, not a superpower.

Many non-Americans (and Americans as well) do not really understand why Kim Kardashian is famous. She rose to prominence in the early 2000’s mostly from her association with Paris Hilton, and has since skyrocketed to worldwide fame, much thanks to her business-oriented mother who turned their lives into an empire through their reality TV series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
